The Best Way to Measure Your Wrist and Why It Matters

The Best Way to Measure Your Wrist and Why It Matters

Why is Measuring Your Wrist Important?

  1. Durability
A bracelet that fits well is less likely to suffer wear and tear. Excessive movement can put stress on the bracelet, potentially causing damage.

  2. Comfort
A well-fitted bracelet ensures comfort throughout the day. An excessively tight bracelet can cause discomfort, while one that's too loose may slide down your arm, constantly needing adjustment.

  3. Style
Proper sizing enhances the visual appeal of your bracelet. It ensures that the design sits elegantly on your wrist, creating a balanced and harmonious look.

Tools You'll Need

The best tool for measuring your wrist is soft tape (soft ruler).

If you don't have one, a piece of string or a strip of paper and a regular ruler can also do the job.

Step by Step Measurement

  1. Prepare Your Wrist

To ensure an accurate measurement, start by cleaning your wrist and removing any bulky clothing or jewelry that could interfere with the process.
  2. Finding the Measurement Point

To find the correct measurement for your wrist size, locate the spot just below the wrist bone where you usually wear a watch or bracelet. This area is usually flat and provides consistent measurements.

  3. Wrap the Measuring Tool

Wrap the measuring tool around your wrist, whether it's a measuring tape, string, or paper.

Make sure it is snug but not too tight - you should be able to slide a finger between the measuring tool and your skin. If it's too tight, you may get an inaccurate, smaller measurement. If it's too loose, the accessory you purchase may end up being too big.

  4. Read or Mark the Measurement

If you are using a measuring tape, simply find the measurement where the end of the tape meets the remaining part. If you are using string or paper, make a mark where the two ends meet, then measure the length of the string or paper with a ruler.
Remember to measure in the correct unit, whether it is inches or centimeters. We recommend adding an extra 0.5-1 inch (1.3 -2.5 cm) for a comfortable fit.

Measuring your wrist may seem like a small detail, but it can make a big difference when it comes to finding the perfect fit for your accessories. So, go ahead and measure your wrist with confidence, knowing that the perfect fit is just a measurement away.
