LaSua Jewelry Measure Knowledge

【Diamond】

• Although Diamond is considered one of the hardest natural material, it deserves your good care to maintain its beauty over lifetime. Best is to keep your diamond in a fabric-lined jewellery case with separate compartment and individually wrap each piece in a soft fabric or put in a soft pouch.

• DO NOT wear your diamond jewellery when doing house works, lifting heavy objects, doing sports or sleeping. Even diamond is known for its hardness, it could be chipped when accidently smacked with hard objects. Loose prongs and damage of the jewellery setting would cause the diamond falling out.

• You are highly recommended to have a professional at LaSua’s Jewellery to check regularly, at least once a year, for loose prongs and wear of mountings to protect diamond from falling off and to ensure the setting remain intact.

• Diamonds are naturally lipophilic; it attracts grease and dirt. An important tip on keeping your diamond sparkling: LAST to put on your diamond jewellery after you are through with your beauty routine – makeup, hairspray, perfumes, get dressed, etc.

• To keep your diamond jewellery always looking beautiful, clean it regularly by simply soak it in a mild cleansing solution, for example water with few drops of pH-neutral soap. Use a soft, clean toothbrush to gently remove visible dirt still found. Then rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

• If your jewellery is of invisible-setting or micro-setting, special and great care must be taken to avoid collision deformation and abrasion. More frequent and regular check by professional at LaSua’s Jewellery is highly recommended to protect diamond from falling off and to ensure the setting remain intact.

【Colored Gemstones】

• DO NOT wear your coloured gemstone jewellery when doing house works, lifting heavy objects, doing sports or sleeping. Loose prongs and damage of the jewellery setting might happen due to accidently smack with hard objects and would eventually cause gemstones falling out.
